Title – Iruvudellava Bittu, Producer – Davanagere Devaraj, Story, Screeplay and Direction – Kantha Kannalli, Dialogues – Mahesh Malavalli, Cinematography – William David, Music – Sridhar V Sambram, Dance – Muruli and Dhan Kumar, Lyrics – Jayanth Kaikini, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Kaviraj and Kantha Kannalli, Cast – Meghana Raj, Sri Mahadev, Tilak, Achyuth Kumar, Aruna Balaraj, Sandeep Malani, Abhishekh Rayanna, Richard Louis and others.

Leave everything and watch this film with lot of variations very fitting to the present generation. This director Kantha Kannalli has churned out 140 minutes and 31 seconds film ‘Iruvudellava Bittu’ – it is a saga of rejoining of estranged parents, estranged couple and the protagonist Akash looking at sky and his ‘Buddy’ (a monkey doll) making introspection as rejoining chief of the film. Sri Murali background voice and well written dialogues is booster dose for the film.

Brevity is the only laxity of this director. He has set in colorful atmosphere, brought in culture of coastal area, the first half is very lengthy and a few of the scenes inconsequential could have been pruned. Instead of giving introduction the film could have come up with Meghana Raj pointing pistol to her.

Iruvudellava Bittu is meaningful because the protagonist leaving his entire job does well for the people but sadly he meets with responsibilities that he enjoys because of his humanity.

Firstly Akash saves Poorvi from virtual death, he becomes her good friend and when he is about to say ‘I Love you’ – like the soap advertisement ‘Mummy’ screams the son of Meghana Raj.

Akash living with dolls intending to build up a family for him finally left alone. In the meantime he does something good for the life of Poorvi a software professional with great nerves. Akash in the life of Poorvi builds up a family life and gives Bhuvan son of Poorvi the father he was missing.

After all in the society we are living getting happiness from doing good for others is an ultimate satisfaction. The concept of Kantha Kannalli is philosophically also right.

Kannada cinema has got a good looking hero who can emote well, smile well and be lively before the camera. That is Sri Mahadev. He is sure to get good going in cinema. In the introspection scene he has emoted well.

Meghana Raj looks class apart and her romantic moods with Thilak are very suggestively shot. Achyuth Kumar as father of Meghana Raj speaking the Tulu accent Kannada is glorious again. Chotu alias Bhuvan is lively. Aruna Balaraj as mother is competent. Sandeep Malani as boss in the office of Meghana Raj has a wafer thin role.

The music of Sridhar V Sambram is haunting at many places. The song sung by Simbu is very peppy number. Cheluve Nee… Yavudi Daari…and Kannugale…..are well adjusted in the screenplay.

William David as cameraman (he was cameraman of Rangitaranga) has given real beauty in colors. It is a feast to eyes.

Finally it is an impressive work by Kantha Kannalli and he stands out for his out of the box concept and narration.
